answered prayer
After writing "relief" last night, it dawned on me that my wonderful day may have been God answering someone's prayer on my behalf. As I spoke to my friend on the phone this morning, I mentioned my hypothesis and she confessed. She said that she woke up in the middle of the night with an overwhelming need to pray for us. Why am I always surprised to see God work this way? It makes me realize how casually I take my prayer life. I have been so lazy about it and I'm so thankful that I'm surrounded by friends and family who haven't forgotten about me. The really amazing thing is that even if everyone forgot about me, God never will forget.
On another note, has anyone out there read The Maker's Diet? Someone gave us their copy and I'm in the middle of it right now. It's fascinating, but I would love to get other people's ideas on it. My head is whirling with information overload and I could use some perspective.

About the Maker's Diet - no. I just googled it. It looks interesting but, a little out there. Anyway, I would be interested in hearing about it but, there's no way I'm paying that money. You can just look up stuff like that on the internet. I've come up with my own list - stuff that relates to nutritional needs, especially when if you're into running. Anything from legumes to frozen pancakes to canned chili beans.
Anyway, I'm Chris, by the way. I did a lot of prank calls at Covenant and at Tad's place - Matt'll know.
