down in the "dumps"
So... Clara has had diarrhea for the last 7 days. Ugh. It's amazing what can come out of a 9 month old's bottom. Tomorrow I get the privilege of scooping a sample out of her diaper and taking it to the pediatrician to analyze. This morning I had a bit of a scare when I saw what looked like coffee grounds in her diaper. Considering that she's been on pedialyte and rice cereal for days, I don't know how that happened.
On a more pleasant note, Clara started to walk pushing her push-walker-thingy tonight, while I was at my class! Matt caught it on video for me. I wish I knew how to post a video. Her little chubby waddle is so unbelievably cute--unlike the diapers we've been changing.
I just finished reading Lilith by George MacDonald, which I would highly recommend to anyone who hasn't read it, especially for those times you are in the literal "dumps". What a wonderful worthy escape from the yuckies.

Ugh. Sorry about the diarrhea. Ick!
Go to Google Video. It's really easy to set up an account and load videos. And then they give you the code to paste into your blog.

Karen, posting videos is SO easy with Mac. Import your video into iMovie, select "share" from the menu at the top. Go down to "share. . ." and then select quicktime. Follow the cues.
